Alex

Alex is loosely based on the beautiful weedy dragons of Port Philip Bay. It is constructed mostly from waste and found materials including off-cuts from a roller blind and a spiral binding coil. Bella

Bella is created from re-purposed plastic bags: the bags which contain the stuffing we use in our Stitch Clubs. Her backbone is a spiral binding.  Bella is stitched by hand and sewing machine using a variety of threads. She lives in a glass dome which stands 22 cm tall with a base of 13cm diameter.

Beetrice

Beetrice’s body is created from re-purposed plastic bags: Lego, Sainsbury’s and heavy duty rubble sacks.
